Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex Susan Pyper, the Duchess of Norfolk, and East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton were among the guests on Thursday.
Mrs Pyper said: ‘I have personally and professionally been involved in healthcare, mental illness and dementia over many, many years and Guild Care’s ‘Home to Remember’ will make a real difference to the quality of dementia care in West Sussex.
“I would ask the local community to support the appeal in any way they can and help us care for people with dementia when they need us most.”
