Jump for science
IF YOU felt the earth move on Friday morning, it was probably caused by thousands of school children throughout the country jumping up and down for one minute.
At 11am precisely, nearly 400 pupils from Littlehampton Community School took part in the Giant Jump marking the beginning of British Science Year. They were attempting not only to cause a minor earth tremor, but also to break a world record.
