Littlehampton tree planting drive springs into action
The birch, whitebeam and Monterey pine trees are now rooting in at Caffyn’s Field, in St Catherine’s Road, as part of the Big Tree Plant spring celebration by the Arun Biodiversity Forum.
The forum successfully applied for funding to carry out the planting in the park, which is owned and managed by Arun District Council. Members of the forum and the council’s parks service will make sure the trees are well cared for and grow into healthy specimens for the enjoyment of residents and visitors.
