Man arrested after crashing into Barcombe school playground

Sussex Police were called at around 10.30am to reports a white van had collided with a wall at School Field.
The driver had minor injuries to his face. No other injuries were reported.

Hide AdA 55-year-old man from the local area has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He remains in custody at this time.
Jessica Gaskell, who posted photographs of the smash on social media, said: “He smashed through the wall of the children’s playground. He is very lucky our children weren’t on their break time.”
