Man thanks pair for quick-thinking CPR
Tony O’Brien, 76, was at his home in Haywards Heath when he collapsed and stopped breathing.
His son, Michael, and his friend Melanie Peters, managing director of Best of Worthing, quickly stepped in and administered CPR.

Hide AdThe Herald reported how they had learnt CPR from a British Heart Foundation TV advert, and paramedics had credited their actions.
Tony said: “If it wasn’t for them, I would be pointing my toes to the heavens.
“I don’t remember anything about it, but I’m told they did CPR and got the old ticker going again.”
