Asset to the town
I remember the very first one built in Durrington - how far we have come!
I am sure many will moan about its size and monopoly, etc., but having visited it myself, I think it will surely be a great new asset to Worthing, and Durrington in particular.

Hide AdWith so much in store and other outlets due to open there, and a new community centre, surely the positives outweigh the negatives?
I will now no longer need to pay the extortionate NCP parking fees to have the privilege of shopping in central Worthing.
I can buy practically anything at Tesco at bargain prices.
Incidentally, with the old building demolished, surely this will not be all parking?
Has anyone considered the possibility of the multi-screen cinema, and perhaps a small restaurant?

Hide AdDurrington so lacks facilities for young and old alike, and for a comfortable, modern cinema experience, including 3D that neither our old cinemas have or could likely afford (sorry, Dome and Connaught), I have to go to Brighton or Chichester.
Come on, Worthing council and Tesco, don't build homes or flats there, use the space.
