First charity fun run at Lodge Hill
The run in Pulborough was started by Johnny Barclay, former Sussex County Cricket captain and MCC President, now Director of Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation.
The route followed the 1K adventure trail that wends its way through the 32 acre wooded site.
Competitors chose between a 10K Race and a 3K Fun Run.

Hannah Miller, Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society, said, “We are delighted to have been working with the team at Lodge Hill and are very grateful for all the time and energy they have put into organising the Lodge Hill Race and Fun Run in aid of both Lodge Hill and Alzheimer’s Society.
“As a charity we rely on the generosity of local fundraisers, and events like this help us support people to live well with dementia today and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow”.
