LETTER: Not a place for petanque

The Gardens are relatively small and soon the bandstand will be located there taking up quite a large area. The area should be kept as a relatively peaceful area in a busy town centre where the public can relax without the noise and possible litter (drink cans etc) that the petanque court would possibly generate.
Councillor Chris Mullins should consider a court in one of the larger parks, in my opinion.
