LETTER: Swimming pool

This would mean that we, in Littlehampton, will have no say in what is done, and where, in our town.
Perhaps I have misunderstood, in which case I apologise, but if I am right perhaps Mr Dendle will explain to the people of Littlehampton what he meant by “everyone can have their say.”

Hide AdDid he mean everyone in Littlehampton, or everyone in the area in which Arun District Council holds sway?
As for councillor Dr James Walsh, I think if a town is represented by a councillor, that is no bad thing, as he or she can put the views of those they represent to the other members where he or she is working.
To conclude, I cannot recall being asked to give an opinion on the matter of the swimming pool at all, at any time, so where councillor Dendle got the idea that the numbers that gave their opinion were small, I do not know.
