Tired of grumbling
We now have a modern, up-to-date design. The plants are establishing themselves and becoming colourful. The hedge will provide a barrier and the poles can come down.
Eastbourne and Hastings have their own displays and Bexhill has become more adventurous.

Hide AdThe shelters are different. The wood blends with other wooden constructions and it is good to see the children playing on those.
We live on West Parade and have an unimpeded view of the whole reconstruction.
It was right to leave the beautiful Edwardian shelters on the eastern promenade. The ones on West Parade were not attractive.
The De La Warr Pavilion must have raised a few eyebrows but it is now an iconic attraction, as I’m sure the fresh, innovative seafront will be.
