Wonderful harvest story of The Enormous Turnip
The children of Years 3/4 performed for the school and parents in the morning and the afternoon saw around 75 visitors from the community join us.
Members of the Upper Beeding Over 60s Club, Valerie Manor, Dingemans Court, The Vintage Years Club, and members of our local churches all joined in the fun.

Children brought in donations of tins and packets to be given to the Shoreham Food Bank, as well as money donations to send to our sister school in Pokot. The hall had a special Harvest makeover using local produce and greenery, with a centrepiece of a harvest loaf kindly donated by Truffles Bakery.
The children all performed with great enthusiasm and confidence, putting a smile on everyone’s face.
Local residents, Mr and Mrs Bamforth said: “Amazing! The children were fabulous, the production was first class, and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. The children had obviously worked very hard, as they all knew exactly where to go, which songs to sing, and they told such a wonderful Harvest story of the Giant Turnip.”
