Nudity at Towner art gallery was unnecessary
In the article about the nudists visiting the Towner Art Gallery, may I be obliged to raise one point.
Philip Baker says and I quote, “ A good proportion of art concerns the human figure. “So nudity can be presented on the walls and no one complains. So what is the difference about a real naked human in the same environment.”

Hide AdI beg to differ! The human form in art goes back to the beginning of time, and is far more acceptable in society, compared to walking naked around an art gallery!
The two simply cannot be compared. As a life model myself, I enjoy visiting galleries to look at “the human form” work.
I’d never walk around naked! Totally unnecessary!
