COFFEE MORNING: Ringmer Bowls Club Spring Coffee Morning will be held tomorrow, Saturday, 10am to 11.30am, in the club house on the Village Green. Entry 50p to include coffee and biscuits. Attractions will include a cake stall, bric-a-brac, books, tombola and a raffle.
ST MARY’S: We celebrate Mothering Sunday with a special Family Service at 10am this week. There will be the opportunity to make a posy for that special person who cares for us. Do come if you can. There will be no evening service on Sunday but there will be an 8am Communion Service. On Tuesday at 5pm The Way of the Cross, a meditation on artwork of Jesus’ last days is part of our Lent preparation. You do not need to have attended previous sessions, all welcome. On Wednesday you are welcome to join in the Lenten prayers at noon. On Thursday the Lent Course runs again in the church room at 3.30pm and 7.30pm. With short videos and lively discussion, this offers an excellent way to explore life as a Christian. On Friday April 5, you may wish to join the bring and share lunch in the church room at 12.30pm. It is an opportunity for those on their own to enjoy a meal in company, contact Sue Howes for details, or just come.

Hide AdFLOWER CLUB: A demonstration by Michelle King entitled Tutti Frutti at 2pm in the village hall on Wednesday. Visitors welcome: £6 to include refreshments.
BRIDGE CLUB: At its meeting on Wednesday March 20 the result of the duplicate pairs played was: 1, Frank Hibbert and Alan Disney; 2, Liz and Tim Owen; 3, Susan Louis and Suzanne Malley. HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: A reminder that entry forms for entries in the village show on April 6, must be received no later than 7pm on Thursday. Schedules (including entry forms) are still available from Chris Browning, club secretary, on 812672 if you would like to take part and enter a few exhibits. On the day, from 2pm the village hall will be open for everyone to come and view the displays and enjoy refreshments that will include an array of delicious home-made cakes. It will also be possible to book your tickets for the coach outings that are being planned for this spring and summer.
JUMBLE SALE: Nevill Juvenile Bonfire Society are holding a sale at Ringmer Village Hall tomorrow, Saturday. Doors open at 2pm.
