Patricia Hill stands to scoop £250,000 on Channel 4's Deal or No Deal
Foster carer Patricia Hill is currently appearing on the Channel 4 gameshow Deal or No Deal, where 21 other contestants await their turn to pick boxes and hope to win as much money as possible.
"I had watched every single Deal or No Deal show and was desperate to go on it myself," said Pat from Aldwick.

Pat (57) went to Bristol where the pre-recorded show was filmed for two and half weeks in May. The first programme of the show she featured in was aired on Monday (October 20) evening.
"I was in 25 shows before I was picked and it was my turn. When you are just a contestant, you are given a box at random and the main player chooses boxes they think contain low sums of money.
"They continue throughout the show and eventually end up with an amount of money, depending on which sums they have knocked out."

"Eventually I was picked as the player. It was so much fun. They really treat you like a star and Noel Edmonds was lovely, very professional and encouraging. It's the best thing I've ever done in my life.
"People are sceptical about the show but it was all entirely random, you are picked to play at random and you have no idea how much money you have in your box or in other people's boxes.
"Obviously, there are things I can't reveal about the show, like if I decide to deal or no deal and how much money I won, but people will find out on November 17."
Deal or No Deal is on Channel 4 at 4.15pm on weekdays.
