"We hope to have it installed very soon after Christmas."
The current mixing desk in service is around 15 years old and is beginning to show signs of ageing.
One of the radio station’s objectives is to offer training to potential radio presenters, technical and support staff.
Using the new equipment will ensure that trainees get the best possible training.
The radio station already has the most up to date computer playout software which is also used by many community stations all over the country and commercial radio stations worldwide.
