Long time Hastings Bonfire Society supporter and former Firesite Captain Brian Gasson built his own impressive bonfire effigy in his back garden, paying tribute to the NHS and commemorating those who died in the two world wars.
Brian built the impressive effigy at his Hastings home to coincide with what should have been the Hastings Bonfire celebrations at the weekend.

Brian commented: “I felt that I wanted to do something to mark the occasion.”
Earlier this year Brian, who took part in many running events with Hastings Runners, constructed a personal garden tribute to the cancelled Hastings Half Marathon event.
