Hove restaurateur and MasterChef winner Steven Edwards to open second venture
The owner of Hove restuarant etch and winner of the 2013 series of BBC’s Masterchef: The Professionals has today (Thursday, January 30) announced he will launch his first venture in London.
He has partnered with the Bingham Riverhouse, in Richmond, to take over its restaurant, which will open in early March.

Hide AdIn a statement, Edwards said: “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved in Hove so far, and with so much more to come there, this feels like the right way to continue to grow our portfolio.”
Announcing the news on social media he said the new project would depart from the tasting menus available at etch and would offer ‘a full à la carte menu with some exciting new dishes’.
He added: “I cannot wait to get cracking!”
Edwards opened etch in 2017. The 12-table restaurant has been awarded a Michelin Plate, a 5 rating in the Good Food Guide and 3 AA Rosettes.
