Karen Hill, 46, of Ham Road, Worthing, has raised more than £2,100 and donated her long red locks to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides natural wigs for children suffering from hair loss.

“It gave us very precious time, 26 more months with her in our lives.
“Throughout those months Jo was an inspiration and we were able to talk openly about our fears and we were extremely blessed to have shared so many more hugs, tears, laughter and love with her.
“Jo held our hands throughout and prepared us all for a life without her.”

“I am just so grateful to everyone who donated, sponsored and emptied their pockets .”
The money will go towards funding research into how to treat pancreatic cancer.
