Police appeal after man stabbed in Brighton brawl
Officers were called at around 1.30am on Saturday (June 24), to a reports of a large fight near to the fountain at Old Steine.
Police said a 20-year-old man, who was visiting the city from London, was beaten up and received stab wounds to his back and legs. He was taken to hospital and received stitches.

Hide AdDetective Constable Tom Coll said: “This is a very busy area of central Brighton even at this time in the morning and we are appealing to anyone who saw it happening.
“The suspects are believed to have come from the St James’s Street direction and we are appealing to anyone who was in that area who might have seen them heading towards Old Steine.”
Sussex Police said three teenagers, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old from Brighton and a 17-year-old from Croydon were arrested for grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, and have been released under investigation.
