Six babies born at St Richard’s on Christmas Day
Four little ones made their journey into the world on the labour ward and two more arrived at Chichester Birthing Centre.
Samantha Stevenson, of Uphill Way, Hunston, gave birth to son Jacob Samuel Stevenson Winwood at 1.58am.

Hide AdWeighing 2.69kg (5lb 15oz), Jacob is her first child and her partner Thomas Winwood’s second.
“I was induced at 33 weeks and three days, so the birth was unexpected,” she said.
“The birth started off fine with being induced but then I had to have a c-section, for his safety and mine.
“We are both doing well, especially Jacob, fighting strong every day.”

Hide AdRanja Shin and partner Ie-bum Shin, of North Street, Emsworth, had their third child at 9.56am, weighing 2.93kg (6lb 7oz).
They already have a son and daughter, and now daughter Nara Tamiela Shin has joined the family.
“Nara arrived earlier than expected,” said Ranja.
“It was a normal birth, very quick. She was born in five hours.”
It was a boy for Phawinee Chanthawong, of The Hornet, Chichester, whose son was born at 1.59pm, weighing 3.79kg (8lb 5oz).

Hide AdNamed Kritthidech Chanthawong, he is the second son for Phawinee and Sanan Chanthawong and will be known by the nickname Fifa.
Phawinee said: “It was a normal birth and he is ok. I have got another boy, Chinaphat Chanthawong, who is now one year and 11 months old.”
Bekah Rhodes also had a son, Indy, born at 6.27pm and weighing 3.515kg (7lb 12oz).
She and husband Adam Rhodes, of Shripney Lane, Bognor Regis, already have two girls, four-year-old Eden and two-year-old Raegan.

Hide AdBekah said: “Indy was two days late. I had a water birth and delivered in the pool.”
Baby Benson Tafara Zinyama was born bang on time, arriving at 6.25pm on Christmas Day and weighing in at 3.79kg (8lb 5oz).
It is the fourth child in the family for Amanda Tilbury and Benedict Zinyama, of Common View, Stedham, but their first baby together. Amanda has two other children and Benedict Zinyama has a 13-year-old son.
Amanda said: “The baby was due on Christmas Day. I was only in hospital for an hour before he was born so I had some time at home with the children first. It was a good end to the day.”
