Spate of burglaries and break-ins at Peacehaven school linked

Sometime between 6pm on Tuesday July 12 and 7am on Wednesday July 13, Meridian County Primary School in Roderick Avenue was broken into and six iPads were stolen from a classroom cupboard.
Burglars also broke in overnight on June 29, taking five iPads and a number of laptops.

Hide AdAnd 11 iPads were taken some time between 6pm and 9pm on June 9.
There have also been some attempted break-ins reported on June 15 and June 23.
PC Louise Barkaway said: “We would like to hear from anybody who may have been near Meridian Primary School on any of these dates and who may have seen or heard unusual activity in or around the school grounds. Anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, is urged to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting reference 217 of 13/07.”
