County council highways officers are installing a traffic monitoring strip across Fish Lane.
This will show the speed at which drivers are travelling as well as the type of vehicle being driven. The action was reported to Aldwick Parish Council’s meeting on Monday.

Funding for the £5,000 estimated cost could come from the council and others such as Arun and West Sussex.
A further study into parking along Aldwick Street is also getting under way.
Both investigations are in response to residents’ concerns about traffic conditions along the busy neighbouring roads.
