The A24 has reopened after subsidence forced it to be shut for several days.
The road – described as a ‘main artery’ into Horsham – was shut northbound between Pollards Hill and Hop Oast for emergency repairs on Saturday.
The closure sparked a huge backlash from people in Southwater as traffic was diverted through the village, causing ‘absolute chaos’.
