Man suffers burns and taken to hospital after Upper Beeding house fire
Around 80 per cent of the roof space in the house was damaged by fire, while 80 per cent of the first floor was damaged by smoke and water.

Hide AdFirefighters used six breathing apparatus, three hose reels and two thermal imaging cameras to tackle the blaze.
Three carbon dioxide cylinders in the roof space were cooled using water.
A spokesperson for SECAmb (South East Coast Ambulance Service) said the man had suffered minor burns to his hands and knees.
He was given first aid at the scene of the blaze, and was then taken to Worthing Hospital by ambulance.
No other homes were damaged.
Firefighters left the scene shortly before 6am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
