A 33-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and is expected to be bailed while enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Paul Graham, of Hastings CID, said: “This was a good example of information supplied from within the community being used to target an illegal operation of quite significant proportions.
“We would encourage anyone who suspects such activity to get in touch. Information is treated in the strictest confidence, yet can often be vital in enabling us to target the perpetrators.”
