UPDATE: Man charged with preventing lawful burial of Mark Manning
Stewart Robertson, 50, of St Aubyns Road, appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 27.
The case was sent for trial to Lewes Crown Court with an initial hearing on June 24. Robertson will remain in custody.

Hide AdAccording to police, human remains which they believe to be Mr Manning were discovered on Hampshire Hill near Slaugham on Wednesday (May 25).
Mark, 54, of Brighton Road, was last seen on April 19, 2014, before his family reported him missing on April 22. Officers launched a murder investigation in June that year.
Colin Gale, 39, of Offington Lane, Worthing, was charged with the murder of Mark Manning in January this year. He is due to stand trial on July 4 at Lewes Crown Court.
