Video: Views sought on 700-home plan for Hove
Toad’s Hole Valley, a 37-hectare site on the north-west fringe of the city, is part of the local authority’s City Plan.
Brighton and Hove City council has said the site, which is just inside the A27 dual carriageway, could include at least 700 homes and 25,000 square metres of employment space.

Cllr Julie Cattell, said: “It’s the biggest blank development site in the city and offers us the opportunity to create a whole new community from scratch. It is very exciting and I look forward to seeing the results of the consultation.”
An exhibition on the proposals is being staged at Hove Town Hall until the end of this week (March 24). The consultation is open for public views until April 10.
