Hide AdWhen Maggie Mockridge was robbed in her home in Spain, she was devastated to find that along with the loss of the contents of her jewellery box, was her late father’s precious Winkle.
Her father, Arthur White, had lived in Hastings all his life and she was so pleased to have taken ownership of the winkle when he died.
When informed of her loss Hastings Winkle Club was delighted to agree to replace Maggie’s lost Winkle and she will receive the winkle at the Fishermen’s Institute in All Saints Street at lunchtime on December 18.
