Witnesses sought after five arrested after Worthing assault
At 10pm on Saturday the victim went into the Co-Operative in Rowlands Road and reported that he had had been attacked by several people at an address in the same road.
He was taken to Worthing Hospital and discharged early the following morning after treatment for cuts and bruising.

Hide AdPolice have arrested three men, aged 36, 44 and 19, and two women, aged 41 and 34, on suspicion of false imprisonment and assault.
An address in Rowlands Road and an address in Marine Parade were searched during a subsequent investigation.
Detective Sergeant Simon Smith said: “Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at either location is asked to contact police.
“They can do so by emailing [email protected] or phoning 101, quoting serial 1440 of 27/02.

Hide Ad“Alternatively they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit www.crimestoppers-uk.org.”
All suspects are currently still in custody for interview and further enquiries.
