VIDEO - Littlehampton captain Rive pleased with start
A losing draw at home to Southwater on Saturday saw Littlehamton fall from top to fourth place after they finished their innings on 140-7 in reply to Southwater’s 205-9.
Arundel took over at the top, while West Chiltington and St Andrews also climbed above Littlehampton, who were left to rue losing three wickets in the space of eight balls early in their innings.

Rive said: “The lads have improved immensely. We started off with Clymping in game one where Tom (Lee) went through the innings and got 92 not out, and we won the game comfortably by 60-odd runs which was a positive start for us and somewhat unusual, because, I don’t think we have won in the first game for a few years.
“Overall, (it’s been) a very positive a start. For the first four games from being top, we are now fourth, ok, we have played a game more. The three games left in the first half of the season are all winnable, East Preston, Felbridge and Arundel.
“They won’t like me saying that, but I think they are all winnable games and then in the league we should know where everybody stands.”
