We're expecting a deadline day full of drama, intrigue, and copious amounts of energy drinks, as a number of high profile deals look to be concluded; this process which could see some clubs' pursuit of players go right down to the wire. Here's a look at where Brighton and all their Premier League rivals are looking to strengthen before the window shuts.
1. Wolves - Winger
Perhaps mindful of the inevitable bidding war for Armand Traore next summer, Wolves want a new winger. They're in advanced talks to get Daniel Podence from Olympiacos, and he's likely to cost around 25m.
2. West Ham United - Where to begin?
The hapless Hammers could do with signing players in a variety of positions, and they're set for a very busy couple of days. They look likely to get SlaviaPrague midfielder Tomas Soucek, and will pursue a striker too.
3. Sheffield United - Midfielder and striker
Chris Wilder has already brought in two players this January, but they're not done yet. The Blades could secure midfielder Sander Berge for a record fee, and a move for strike Richairo Zivkovic could also go through.
4. Watford - Centre-back
Nigel Pearson looks like he just might save the Hornets from relegation, and he wants a new defender to help the cause. They're relentlessly pursuing Burnley outcast Ben Gibson.
