Racon's on a roll and wants to stick around
The Blues midfielder is keen to stay and be part of the rebuilding process at Fratton Park next season.
Racon has shown promise in his seven appearances since arriving on loan from Millwall.

Racon believed he’s still away from full fitness and being up to the match sharpness he expected of himself.
He has made it clear there will be improvement from him over the season’s finale.
And then he is hopeful of making his loan stay permanent – whatever league the Blues are in next season.

‘When you haven’t played for a while it takes a little time to feel sharp.
‘But I feel I’m getting there and I’m going to get better and better.
‘There’s definitely more to come. I’m not feeling I’m at my best yet.

‘There are nine games to go. So we have to go to the end of the season and see where the club are.
‘Even in League Two it would be okay for me to stay. It’s not something I was looking to but it’s Portsmouth – and Portsmouth is a big club.
‘In this country the club size is important, not just the division. So Portsmouth is a club I would be interested in playing at in the future.

Pompey go to Leyton Orient tonight looking for a third win on the bounce.
That would represent their best form of the season, with caretaker boss Guy Whittingham’s side suffering just the single defeat in the past six matches.
Racon thought the last win on the road at Crewe offered the blueprint for Pompey.

They created plenty of chances against the Railwaymen and were dangerous on the counter before the home side netted a late equaliser.
Racon knew defensive solidity was going to be key at Matchroom Stadium.
He said: ‘When you go away you have to defend well as a team.
‘Hopefully we can do the same as we did at Crewe.

‘But we defended as a team and that has to be the way to get points at Leyton Orient.’
Racon sounded a warning Pompey could ill-afford a repeat of Saturday’s first-half display against Bury if they were to keep their decent run of form going tonight.
Whittingham’s side served up one of their worst 45-minute performances of the season against the Shakers and were fortunate to go in level at the break.

Racon believed a repeat of their opening at Fratton Park tonight would lead to an inevitable outcome.
He said: ‘The first half on Saturday was tired and we weren’t sharp.
‘It wasn’t good and we had to pick it up, press them and be on the front foot.
‘We had to do everything to win the game.
‘We weren’t happy with each other.
‘But at the end of it we got two goals and a clean sheet.
‘Now we have two difficult away games.
‘But we now have to do everything to win them like the second half on Saturday.’
