A handball from Nathan Sleat allowed the Hammers to net their second penalty, but the first half action wasn’t finished and after great work from Chris Spiers to win possession, Lee Thomas found Brooker to fire in powerfully.
The second half was far quieter and produced no goals, but still manager Paul Cooper was delighted, adding: “It was a good performance from us.” Cooper is eyeing a strong finish with three games remaining in what has been an impressive first season.
