Hawks flying high after title success
A physical first quarter saw the Hawks slowly edge ahead 19-8 before an explosive 21-0 run during the second quarter put Horsham firmly in control, giving the league leaders a 40-8 half-time advantage.
The Hawks continued to pull away in the third quarter before the Eagles fought back valiantly at the start of the fourth with a 9-2 run themselves. Ultimately however, a combination of intense defence and fearless attacking basketball secured Horsham its 13th straight victory and the Sussex title with one game to spare.
