More off-road routes open in Sussex
Their approach to local farmers led to the first Toll Ride being opened on agreed tracks and headlands. In just a few years, dozens of networks of toll rides, connecting to local public bridle paths and byways were initially opened in the South-East.
Two new West Sussex routes are due to open by early May, at Knepp Castle Estate, West Grinstead, and Hook Farm at Ardingly.

Hide AdIn late 2005 Defra awarded TROT a grant for its development and expansion project. As a result of this funding TROT has been able to improve existing ride/carriage driving networks and continue to expand their scheme by opening up even more routes.
