A win Hailsham win would have lifted them above Mullets, but Arundel now have a five-point gap between themselves and the chasing sides.
Neither side grasped the game early on as both enjoyed possession but created little in the way of attack.

Hide AdThat was until the 15th minute when Arundel were gifted the lead. Grant Spencer failed to control a simple ball just inside his own penalty area which allowed Mullets' Stuart Hack to and crash the loose ball past keeper Russell Tanner.
Hailsham should have made an instant reply but Stuart Lewis fired well wide.
