Try your hand at drawing at Brighton Festival
David Shrigley, guest director of Brighton Festival, launched the exhibition Life Model II on April 14 and it is drawing in increasing numbers of artists and art-lovers.
Shrigley’s nine-foot-tall sculpture of a nude model takes centre-stage and artists are invited without charge to go along and draw it with the materials provided.

“There are people who come in to do proper life drawing, there are people who just come in for a doodle and people who have no idea what they are doing but they just give it a go, that’s what it’s all about.”
With less than two weeks left to run why not go along and try your hand at drawing this life model that will not move a muscle no matter how long it takes you.
Fabrica's walls are lined with interpretations of the sculpture showing the diversity of artistic mediums and techniques, and the talent of each contributing artist.
Many of the images came from the last exhibition in Vienna.
Life Model II will be open at Fabrica, Brighton, until Sunday, May 27.
