FILM: The Words (15)

Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal make their directorial debut with this ensemble drama about the tug of war between reality and fiction.

Famous author Clayton Hammond (Dennis Quaid) prepares to give a public reading of his latest tome, The Words, accompanied by his agent Richard Ford (John Hannah).

A pretty student, Daniella (Olivia Wilde), waits nervously backstage, hoping to interview Clayton after his reading. Rory’s girlfriend Dora (Zoe Saldana) reads the transcription, believing it to be her beau’s work, and she sets in motion a meeting with publisher Joseph Cutler (Zeljko Ivanek).
