To raise money for their show My Fair Lady in September 2021, the five arts dev students – Emily Weir, Isabella Oldham, Tamina Bamford, Georgia Hewitt and Sophie Reid – have worked together to create a live streamed cabaret.

The cabaret performance will feature a variety of acts, performed by some of the students cast in My Fair Lady as well as other musical theatre students from the university.

The livestream cabaret is premiering at 7.30pm on April 3.

Tickets are the basis donate what you can from £2.50, all to raise the money for the New Theatre Royal Portsmouth where the production of My Fair Lady is taking place.

Georgia Hewitt said: “The arts have suffered greatly throughout 2020 and 2021and the New Theatre Royal is no exception.

“Having completed their own successful CrowdFunder, raising nearly £16,000, it still isn’t enough. Right now the theatre is facing its biggest challenge in its 160-year history as it relies on ticket sales for the majority of its income. Without immediate urgent funding its future is under threat.
