Deliveroo reveals Chichester's top take-aways

The on-demand food delivery service is celebrating its fourth birthday in Chichester this week.

New data has revealed that Friday is the night most locals prefer to stay home with a Deliveroo

"Chichester locals can’t get enough of Japanese, with Chicken Katsu Curry from Kokoro being the most popular dish in the town," a spokesperson for Deliveroo said.

"In Chichester, over 60 per cent of Deliveroo partners are independent, creating food success stories across the town."

Deliveroo revealed that Friday at 8:28pm is the most popular time for Chichester locals to order Deliveroo.

According to the data, the most popular dishes were; chicken katsu curry from Kokoro; noodles from Toy's Flying Wok Noodle Bar; buttermilk chicken burger from Wildwood; chicken balls from Lucky House and prime fillet cod from LA Fish.

Since its launch in the town four years ago, more than 60 restaurants have signed up to Deliveroo.

The platform has created work for more than 130 people, with the majority of these being the Deliveroo riders, who deliver food which is 'cooked fresh to order and delivered to your door within 30 minutes'.

Deliveroo said it supports local businesses in Chichester, with 60 per cent of its restaurant partners being local independent restaurants, 'creating new revenue streams for homegrown culinary talent'.
