Savills Licensed Leisure is marketing the former Seven Fish restaurant on North Street after a previous agreement fell through.

The building has a rear garden and terrace and is considered suitable for ‘a variety of commercial uses’.

Chris Bickle, director and surveyor in the licensed leisure team at Savills Southampton, says: “Following a competitive bidding process we agreed leasehold terms with a restaurant operator and unfortunately that has now become abortive.

“As a result we are relaunching the property to the market guiding rental offers of £30,000 per annum exclusive for the benefit of a new lease with terms to be agreed.

“Previous interest demonstrated the strength and range of Midhurst’s appeal within the food and beverage sector and being based in a popular visitor destination the market town is positioned well to benefit from the staycation boom.

“The property most recently operated as a 70 seat restaurant with an attractive external customer area to the rear.

“Whilst the configuration will no doubt appeal to hospitality operators, the wider permitted uses include retail and other business services.”
