Pizza Hut confirms closure of Chichester restaurant

Pizza Hut's restaurant in Chichester has permanently closed.

The restaurant chain said its branch at Chichester Retail Park, in Portfield Way, closed in December.

The announcement comes after Pizza Hut signage had been removed from the building.

A company spokesperson added: "We are saddened by the closure of the Chichester Pizza Hut restaurant.

"The restaurant Pizza Hut is available by collection from our Bognor Regis restaurant.

"We hope to fully reopen our dine-in services at this location as and when it is safe to do so.”

Pizza Hut follows Frankie and Benny's in leaving the city. The American-Italian restaurant permanently closed its Chichester Gate branch last year.

Chichester Gate, however, will soon be home to a new fast-food restaurant in Five Guys. Read more here
