New shopfront plan for the former Halfords store

An application for ‘external alterations’ to the site in Portfield Way looks to remove the existing lobby and replace it with a new shopfront, as well as erecting a trolley bay.

Applicants M&G Real Estate also looks to turn part of the unit into an in-store cafe.

Halfords opened their new store in Barnfield Drive in July.
