UPDATE: Chichester Cineworld back open after ‘power issue’

CHICHESTER’S multiplex cinema is back open as usual after being closed yesterday evening (June 8).

Cineworld was closed from late afternoon onwards yesterday, but a spokeswoman from the chain said it was now business as usual again.

“We can confirm that Cineworld Chichester is open as usual today,” she said.

“The cinema was closed for a short period yesterday due to a power issue.

“We apologise for any inconvenience and have offered refunds to anyone affected.

“The Unlimited screening for our Unlimited card holders has been rescheduled for June 15 at 8.15pm.

“We look forward to welcoming customers back to the cinema.”
