Chichester pupil, aged five, makes ‘hero’ keyrings to raise funds for the NHS

Freyja Greig, who is in reception class at Oakwood School in Chichester, had been helping her dad at home using their 3D printer to make ear protectors for NHS staff at St Richard’s Hospital, where her mum works.

She then had the idea to make her mum a hero keyring as a gift.

Freyja then decided to try to sell some keyrings to raise money to help the hospital, enlisting her dad to help her make them.

Oakwood School will be offering the keyrings for sale to its school community to help raise some funds for the NHS.

A spokesman said: “We are so proud of her and of her family and we hope to sell lots of keyrings.”
