Glenwood School, a specialist secondary school in Emsworth, confirmed to parents on September 28 that a pupil had tested positive for the virus.

In a letter, the school said the pupil was ‘doing well’ and had asked anyone who had been in close contact with the student to self-isolate for 14 days.

Because this included some members of staff, the school has had to reduce the timetable for students temporarily, with only a couple of year groups in on certain days.
