ACTOR Christopher Timothy announced the lucky winners of a charity raffle on Friday, October 16.

Following the phenomenal fundraising success of
Covers’ charity campaign, ‘Help for Hospices’, which raised a total of £27,000
for hospices across the
south-east, Covers Home
Ideas in Chichester welcomed the celebrity.

Christopher was tasked with drawing the winners of the ‘grand raffle’.

Proceeds from the raffle’s ticket sales, which were sold across the company’s 14 branches throughout the campaign, contributed to the final fundraising figure, which included a donation from Covers of more than £21,000.

Following the raffle draw, a cheque of £7,500, representing a proportion of the money raised during the compaign, was presented by the chairman of Covers,
Rupert Green, to the chief executive of St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Alison Moorey.

The remaining money will be shared among ten other hospice charities in the
south-east including Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in Arundel.

Rupert Green said: “I am absolutely delighted to present St Wilfrid’s Hospice with our donation of £7,500.

“I hope it will be of great benefit to them and the people they help through their amazing work.

“Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and thank you to everyone who bought
a ticket and helped to raise vital funds for these exceptional charities.”
