THE performance of adult social care services is the subject of an annual report by West Sussex County Council.
From 2012-2013, the county council supported more than 12,000 adults living at home with services provided or commissioned by adults’ services.
The report highlights areas where progress has been made, explains how the budget is spent and outlines how people with long-term conditions or complex health needs are supported.
“This is a vitally important document that demonstrates how well we are performing to the public and our customers,” said Peter Catchpole, cabinet member for adult social care and health.
“We have had many challenges and these will continue in this difficult climate.”
The report also outlines how people with disabilities cope when they are out alone. More information at: www.westsussex.gov.uk.
