Appeal after Land Rover is stolen from Petersfield railway station

A South Harting couple are appealing for help to recover their treasured 12 seater Land Rover Defender stolen from Petersfield Station yesterday, (Monday, April 4).

They have owned the R registered white Land Rover since 1999 and driven it all over Europe with their five children.

It was stolen from the station car park between 7am-9pm.

A spokesman for British Transport Police (BTP) said: “I can confirm we are investigating the theft of a Land Rover from the car park at Petersfield station.

“The incident was reported to us, yesterday, Monday, April 4 and enquiries are ongoing.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference 564 of 4/4/16.

“Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
