MOTORCYLING Santas turned out in their droves to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice in its first Christmas motorbike fundraising event.
The day was a roaring success, with 120 bikers completing laps of the Goodwood motor circuit.
Motorbikes of all shapes and sizes turned up on Sunday, and Worthing Community Band created a festive atmosphere.
Hospice chief executive, Alison Moorey said: “This was a fantastic event to raise both much-needed funds and awareness of St Wilfrid’s.
“All the bikers were so generous and we really appreciated their support on the day. We hope to run the event again next year so we hope to see even more bikers all riding for the hospice.”
St Wilfrid’s Hospice would like to say a huge thank you to the Goodwood marshalling team, led by Ian Stevens, and to its own volunteers who came along to help out.
